National Teaching
Artist Appreciation Week
In 2012 The Association of
Teaching Artists declared
the third week in May as
National Teaching Artists
Appreciation Week. Thank you
to the arts organizations
that credited ATA and
celebrated Teaching Artists
at the heart of their
organizations! Teaching
Artists are important and
integral parts of quality
education and vibrant
communities, and the third
week in May ATA officially
celebrate their many
contributions to making life
better for so many children
and adults.
Thank You Teaching Artists,
National Teaching Artists
