About this event
Artist INC Express is a 3-day intensive workshop created to address the specific business needs and challenges artists of all disciplines face every day.
Building upon Artist INC’s experience working with hundreds of artists in the Midwest region through its core Artist INC Live seminar, Artist INC Express was designed to focus participants on learning the most essential skills in the shortest amount of time.
Mid-America Arts Alliance, in partnership with Arkansas Arts Council, will host this workshop dedicated to bringing teaching artists together across the state of Arkansas to create peer support network. Artist INC Express is an intensive workshop created to address the specific professional needs and challenges that artists of all discipline face. Led by professional artist facilitators who are also teaching artists, the workshop is highly interactive and includes activities and discussions focused on goal setting, writing about your practice, and the various building blocks for a sustainable career that balances teaching and artistic practices. Artist INC Express immediately activates a network of artists in their community leading to additional peer to peer resource sharing and support long after the workshop concludes.
The workshop is open to all Arkansas teaching artists for free. Registration is required.
