The New Jersey State Council on the Arts will be hosting a free, virtual meet and greet for teaching artists and arts organizations on June 12, 2023 | 2:00 – 3:30 PM. Registered teaching artists will have the opportunity to meet with arts organizations looking to engage with and hire teaching artists.
HOW IT WORKS: Teaching artists will be able to self-select breakout rooms managed by arts organizations across the state. Organizations will be assigned 15 minutes to present about their programming and allow for TAs to ask questions about their hiring requirements, available positions, and more. At the conclusion of the 15 minutes, TAs will have the opportunity to self-select another organization or stay in the current organization’s breakout room.
Presentation materials for all participating organizations will be made available to registered teaching artists.
WHO WILL BE THERE: The State Arts Council welcomes more than a dozen arts organizations from across the state, as well as the Teaching Artists of the Mid-Atlantic, the region’s service and advocacy organization for teaching artists.
