Artforms & Experience

Biography

I’m very privileged to be learning and teaching within the Faculty of Education at Memorial University in St. John’s Newfoundland, Canada. I offer classes in elementary literacies, graduate education and drama education and love what I do. I’ve attended several summer Lincoln Centre institutes for teaching artists and those are immersive and transformative experiences always. I’m a PhD grad from NYU and am also a teacher of some twenty-something years…mostly in elementary schools and in faculties of education. I’m hooked on The Lullaby Project work and am currently partnering with a women’s centre and a prison for women here in NL—also a tremendous privilege. St. John’s Newfoundland is a stunning place to live, hike, play, breathe and create things. What’s not to love?
