Jessica Held, a Cincinnati native, is an artist, small business owner, festival coordinator, and an Ohio Arts Council, Art Possible Ohio and Dairy Barn Arts Center teaching artist living in Athens, Ohio. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting and photography from Ohio University and continues to exhibit and publish her artwork. Jessica is the creative force behind Flux and Function LLC, her small business offering functional art available in local shops across Ohio. Additionally, she serves as the community marketplace coordinator for the annual Ohio Pawpaw Festival. With a passion for art education, Jessica has been a visiting, resident, and teaching artist at schools, art centers, and community events in Ohio, Texas, Indiana, and Michigan for over two decades.
