Master’s Degree in Applied Theater

- The Master's Degree in Applied Theatre (M.A.), the first program of its kind in the United States, is a sequential, ensemble-based program for students interested in the use of theatre to address social and educational issues in a wide range of settings. The program stresses the unity of theory and practice, and is linked to the professional applied theatre work of the renowned CUNY Creative Arts Team.

- In partnership with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Longy School of Music of Bard College's innovative 12-month Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program prepares musicians to become agents of change.
Sistema Fellows Program
- New England Conservatory of Music

- Each year, ten Sistema Fellows engaged in an intensive nine-month curriculum that featured, among other topics, leadership development, presentation skills, nonprofit strategy, finance, resource development, evaluation and assessment, and education philosophy. This learning happened through a combination of classroom seminars at NEC and experiential work in the field. Fellows spent one month in residence at El Sistema-inspired programs of their choosing across the United States.

Teaching Artists Professionalization Initiative

- 6 modules, 8-12 hours each, on: contexts of teaching artistry, studio habits of heart and mind, culture and community in the classroom, teaching for all ability levels, creative collaboration, and residency design. Each componant has a digital badge received upon succesful completion.
