Yale School of Music

- In the Teaching Artists program, Yale School of Music graduate students work in New Haven Public School classrooms as assistants to NHPS music teachers. YSM Teaching Artists work 3-10 hours each week during the school year. Their work in these music programs both contributes to the classroom and improves their teaching skills. Teaching Artists lead group lessons, work one-on-one with individual students, and assist with activities like music theory and ear training.
Dual Degree in MM & ME
- Manhattan School of Music/Columbia Teacher's College
- Manhattan School of Music and Teachers College Columbia University offer a dual degree at the Master’s level.This accelerated program, designed to be completed in three years, gives the student an MM (Master of Music) from Manhattan School of Music and an EdM (Master of Education) in Music Education with New York State K–12 Music Teacher Certification from Teachers College Columbia University. Students participate in teaching at community partnerships.

Master’s Degree in Applied Theater

- The Master's Degree in Applied Theatre (M.A.), the first program of its kind in the United States, is a sequential, ensemble-based program for students interested in the use of theatre to address social and educational issues in a wide range of settings. The program stresses the unity of theory and practice, and is linked to the professional applied theatre work of the renowned CUNY Creative Arts Team.

- In partnership with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Longy School of Music of Bard College's innovative 12-month Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program prepares musicians to become agents of change.
Sistema Fellows Program
- New England Conservatory of Music

- Each year, ten Sistema Fellows engaged in an intensive nine-month curriculum that featured, among other topics, leadership development, presentation skills, nonprofit strategy, finance, resource development, evaluation and assessment, and education philosophy. This learning happened through a combination of classroom seminars at NEC and experiential work in the field. Fellows spent one month in residence at El Sistema-inspired programs of their choosing across the United States.
