Oakland Unified Arts Partners is a coalition of program administrators, teaching artists, arts leaders, school district staff, and funders working to strengthen the arts education ecosystem through collaborative partnerships between local community arts organizations and Oakland Unified School District public schools. We invite OUSD students and families, community-based organizations, funders, teaching artists, teachers, program administrators, and arts education advocates to work towards: 1. Culturally responsive, anti-racist teaching practices 2. Neighborhood-based opportunities for young artists to showcase their work 3. Advocacy efforts to ensure creative learning for all OUSD students. Together, we align our work, share resources, and deepen our arts education community. 2023-24 Meeting Schedule Meetings happen monthly on the 3rd Tuesday from 3:45 to 5:00pm (note we do not meet in December)
