This sliding-scale workshop will be offered twice; once for white, non-Indigenous settlers on Nov. 5th and once for BIPOC/People of the Global Majority on Nov. 12th.
From “Land Acknowledgement” to #LandBack is a collaboration between @amplify.rj @decolonizeyourclassroom and @indigenizingartsed that addresses the question: “What does it mean to move beyond performative land acknowledgements?”
Facilitators will engage participants “in dialogue, reflection, art making, and collaboration to move beyond land acknowledgements in support of #LandBack. This workshop will invite participants to restore their relationships to land, water, peoples, and themselves.”
