Oakland Unified Arts Partners is a collective group that focuses on partnerships between local Bay Area community arts organizations and public schools within the Oakland Unified School District. Many of our organizations have long-standing relationships with schools and our professional Teaching Artists work side by side with Oakland teachers to nurture young people’s capacity as innovative creators, critical thinkers, empathetic collaborators, and effective communicators.
We work to strengthen the arts education ecosystem of the Bay Area through our emergent shared values & visioning:

Past meetings have included teaching artists, program staff, funders, and District Visual and Performing Arts Office staff. We've deepened relationships, hosted collaborative learning communities, and formed new programmatic partnerships through these meetings.
