I Created and facilitated an empowerment workshop for LGBTQ+ youth at LYRIC—a nonprofit in San Francisco. This included:<br />
• Inviting participants to brainstorm aspects they love about themselves and ways that they are powerful<br />
• Aiding youth in transforming their ideas into visual form—imagining how they would look and feel if they were a tree (examples include; strong branches, deep roots, flourishing leaves)<br />
• Leading group discussion around their visual choices and how they felt these related to their ideas around individual personal power<br />
• Assisting the group in inquiring into self expression through art-making
