-Creating, directing, and facilitating the Teaching Artist Training Program to nurture and develop dynamic and diverse local teaching artist talent and create further opportunities to engage communities in Orpheum programming and in their own spaces and neighborhoods.
-Directing and facilitating the youth storytelling program entitled, From Where I Stand collaborating with youth from school and community partners across Memphis.
-Program design and curriculum creation for new and existing programs including: Interactive Field Trips, Teacher Professional Development, Summer Camps, Performing Arts Workshops. In addition to curriculum creation, providing consultation and training to teaching artists and program leaders in the development of quality education and engagement programming and experiences.
-Collaborated in the development of OTG Education’s Declaration of Action Statement and Philosophy of Education.
-Providing coaching, mentorship, and resources to current teaching artists in areas of lesson planning, engagement, artistic development, coaching and facilitation strategies, and classroom management.
-Function as a lead teaching artist and model best practices in education and community programs.
