(TAT) Teaching Artist in Training

Teaching Artist in Training is a paid fellowship program, which is designed for Transitional Aged (18-24) youth who are motivated to gain the skills and experience necessary to become effective, professional, community Teaching Artists. They will receive training and individual coaching in the best practices and principles of arts education, creative youth development and Artivism as well as hands-on experience serving as a teaching assistant within Loco Bloco’s site based classes and Carnaval program. Upon completion of the program, Class Assistants will receive official certification of training from Loco Bloco.
